Food Safety Guidelines / Advice
Food safety is one of the highest priorities for Iqbal Catering. We have a food safety management system that ensures our customers receive high-quality food prepared according to strict safety standards. Please follow the guidance below to ensure your food remains safe after leaving our premises.
Consumption & Storage
- Our food is prepared fresh and ready to consume immediately or within 3–4 hours of release.
- If not consumed within that time, cool the food and refrigerate below 8°C.
- To cool quickly and safely:
- Remove food from original packaging.
- Divide into smaller containers.
- Cool within 3 hours before refrigerating.
- Ensure food reaches room temperature before placing in fridge.
- Cover and place above raw items.
- Do not place hot food in the fridge.
- Food can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
- Reheat to at least 90°C or until piping hot.
- Consume immediately after reheating. Do not refrigerate again.
- Do not freeze food.
- Dispose of any leftovers properly.
- Do not distribute leftovers to others — contamination risk may cause food poisoning liability.
